Wilson F2211 Football Helmet Isosorb Padding Raiders Stabler Dolphins Griese

Rare, full size Wilson F2211 football helmet with a complete set of Wilson’s innovative Isosorb padding. The helmet appears to have been manufactured during the early 1970s.

This amazing specimen features appropriate stripes and decals of the Miami Dolphins of the early to mid 1970s. Helmet also has number 43 in appropriate size, color, and font for the Dolphins of the early 1970s. Vintage leather Riddell jaw pads with heavy wear are included. The shell is size large and shows wear inside and out. Helmet is stamped 6 7/8 to 7 on the rear left side. Overall attractive heavy wear is evident throughout the shell and on the decals, with some paint missing throughout (as pictured).

Side decals have several wrinkles, as many of the Dolphins helmets of that era. Helmet also includes the most famous football helmet facemask on the planet, the Riddell BD-9 facemask! The lower side of the mask has a drill hole.

Although we have no proof, this may be a Dolphins gamer. Of course with any proof at all this beauty would fetch 10 times the asking price. Set it on the desk or in a prominent place on the bookshelf and watch your friends marvel!
