Vintage Suspension Football Helmet Custom 1970 Washington Redskins Lombardi R

Rare original and vintage Wilson suspension football helmet from the late 1960s which has been customized to represent a lineman’s helmet from the 1970-1971 seasons.

Nice large shell helmet with size 7 5/8 suspension includes all you see, with shell impregnated white and vintage yellow gold paint from the 1970s still adorning the shell. Helmet shows attractive game use throughout.

Helmet has been customized by adding appropriate striping, as well as iconic Redskins Lombardi R decals, and appropriate size, color and font #77 spaced wide on the rear as the Redskins wore.

Helmet also includes vintage Schutt style reproduction JOP butterfly bolt on facemask ($125 value) and soft chin strap.

Please note: We are not claiming this helmet was issued or worn by the Redskins. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field! Don’t miss this one!
