Vintage Riddell WD-1 Football Helmet Atlanta Falcons Bill Curry

Original and authentic Riddell WD-1 helmet, as evidenced by the date tag inside above the suspension. Helmet is manufactured from red color impregnated into the plastic. RIDDell WD-1 helmets were manufactured by RIDDell in the 1980s and were used by colleges and professional teams.

This beauty has iconic Falcons decals, and matching striping on the helmet.

Amazing helmet is a large size 7 1/4, and includes jaw pads and matching Riddell logo original chin strap too.

This beautiful specimen also comes with a Schutt style Red Dot white NOP facemask as worn by All-Time Falcons great and fan favorite Bill Curry!

We then customized this war bonnet by adding Curry’s name on black dymo tape above the ear hole as equipment managers might have done for identification purposes.
