Vintage Riddell PAC Football Helmet Custom 1970s Notre Dame Fighting Irish

Original and vintage Riddell PAC football helmet from the 1970s with a complete set of padding. This beauty is a true one of a kind and has been customized to represent the helmet worn by many Notre Dame skill position players of the 1970s.

This beauty has been professionally painted appropriate Notre Dame Gold and includes a reproduction Schutt style OPO facemask as well as a 4-point high hook-up chin strap.

Please note: we are not claiming this helmet was issued or worn by the Fighting Irish.

PLEASE READ- This is truly a custom one of a kind helmet and was built to represent a game worn helmet of the team shown. Please understand what you are buying. If you want a perfectly pristine brand new looking helmet which costs $1500-$2000 this is not the helmet for you. However, if you want an affordable vintage helmet which will display nicely, this is your helmet!

This helmet was built by sanding the outside and cleaning the inside before painting the outside of the shell. It has flaws just like the helmets worn during the 1970s, but will display nicely. These were built to put on the shelf or mantle and enjoy discussions about the golden era of football!

This is a nice size 7 1/4 helmet.
