Vintage Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 Football Helmet 1964 Dallas Cowboys Don Meredith

Vintage original and authentic Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 Football Helmet-

Authentic, original and vintage Riddell TK2 Kra-Lite helmet from the mid 1960s. Helmet is a very rare specimen in its own right, and has been customized to be a true one of a kind item, to represent the helmet All-Time Cowboys great and fan favorite Don Meredith would have worn during the 1964-1966 seasons. Helmet has outside painted appropriate bluish silver as used by the Cowboys during this time frame, and includes correct shade of blue thin mil striping and double layered matching decals as the Dallas Cowboys used from 1964-66. That’s correct, you read it right- the iconic star decals are actually two pieces of vinyl just as the Cowboys used during this era. The Riddell Kra-Lite TK2, known and recognized by the “Tru-Kurv” shell, was used by many Cowboys greats such as Don Meredith until the early 1970s when the RIDDell Kra-Lite II was introduced. This helmet shows a very attractive new coat of paint, and has been customized with single bar quarterback mask and correct blue dymo-tape with Meredith’s name applied to the center stripe exactly as the Cowboys used. You can still see the “RIDDell” and “Kra-Lite” stamping under the paint. Please see photos for condition.
