Vintage Riddell Kra-Lite II Football Helmet Washington Redskins Chris Hanburger

Rare Riddell Kra-Lite II TK2 helmet from 1973 as shown by the date stamp above the ear hole. Nice large shell helmet with size 7 3/8 suspension is a custom made true one-of-a-kind and includes all you see, with shell impregnated Redskins burgundy with appropriate striping, as well as iconic Redskins decals, and the most widely used facemask in history, the Riddell BD-9 double bar facemask. Helmet is customized as worn by Hall of Famer and all time NFL great linebacker Chris Hanburger as he led the Redskins defense during their glory days of the 1960s-1970s. This specimen also includes #55 in correct size and font numbers applied in correct position on rear. Riddell Kra-Lite II helmets are a rare collectible in their own right, as they were only manufactured for a few years. Helmet also includes authentic vintage soft cup RIDDell chin strap too!
