Vintage Riddell Kra-Lite Football Helmet 1973 Washington Redskins Charley Taylor

Rare Riddell Kra-Lite II TK2 helmet from 1973 as shown by the date stamp above the ear hole. Nice large shell helmet with size 7 3/8 suspension is a custom made true one-of-a-kind and tribute to Hall of Fame wide receiver Charley Taylor! This beauty includes all you see, with shell impregnated Redskins burgundy with appropriate striping, as well as iconic Redskins decals, and 1-bar facemask as Taylor wore at times during 1973, which was the first year the Redskins wore this decal and striping. This was also Taylor’s final year. Helmet is customized as worn by Taylor as he led the Redskins during their glory days. This helmet also includes #42 in correct size and font numbers applied in correct position on rear. Riddell Kra-Lite II helmets are a rare collectibles in their own right, as they were only manufactured for a few years. Helmet also includes gray tone soft cup chinstrap as Taylor wore as well. Please note: We are not claiming this helmet was issued or worn by Mr. Taylor or the Redskins. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field! Don’t miss this one!
