Vintage Riddell Kra-Lite Football Helmet 1969-1971 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Custom, one-of-a-kind vintage and original Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 football helmet from the later 1960s as indicated by the original gray paint inside the helmet, which RIDDell stopped using in 1969. This beauty has been given a professional coat of white paint and then a perfect set of decals and striping from the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets as the team wore from 1969-1971. Riddell manufactured the TK2 beginning in 1962 and continued through the mid-1970s. The TK2 is best recognized by its fully rounded shell with handsome metal rivets, and the 12-point suspension. Look closely and you can still see the remnants of both the “RIDDell” and “Kra-Lite” heat stamps on the rear of the helmet under the white paint and striping.

Helmet also sports one of the most widely recognized football helmet face masks on the planet, the Schutt style OPO facemask.

Many of our helmets are vintage from the 1960's and 1970's. Some have been re-painted, while others have the original paint, decals and striping still intact. Some look brand new while others look game used because they are (even if not in an NFL or college game). We try to offer a variety of teams and helmet conditions.

This is simply a great vintage helmet in amazing condition!
