Vintage Riddell 1971 Buffalo Bills Kra-Lite Old Football Helmet Lamp Rare!

Original vintage Buffalo Bills Riddell Kra-Lite helmet lamp from 1971 as shown by the date stamp inside the helmet.

Riddell helmet lamps manufactured between 1969 and 1973 used actual game helmets which were made for the NFL teams, so the decals and striping are original and vintage team issued. These lamps were available by mail order through The Sears Wishbook. When ordered, RIDDell simply removed the suspension padding from the helmet and replaced the rivets before assembling the helmet into a lamp to ship out.

We have been buying and selling these lamps for over 15 years and this is only the second one of these 1971 Bills helmet lamps we have ever seen. What an awesome display piece!

This helmet lamp works just fine. Please note this lamp is almost 50 years old and we will not guarantee safety in operation.

This beautiful piece of Americana came to us exactly as you see, and includes vintage and authentic decals as used by the team during that era, as well as the most widely used football helmet face mask on the planet, the vintage Riddell 2-bar BD-9 facemask. The paint is vintage and original from the manufacturer! Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
