Vintage Clear Shell Wilson F2000 Suspension Football Helmet Boston Patriots 7.5

Very rare Boston / New England Patriots Wilson F2000 clear shell suspension football helmet. That’s right! You read that correctly! All paint is beneath the clear shell. This is truly an amazing helmet which is very rarely found in any condition.

Wilson made these helmets for several years and the Patriots were one of the few teams to use them. Unlike other clear shell manufacturers, Wilson didn’t usually put striping and decals under the shell, so all decals and striping are on the outside of the shell, just like the Patriots wore them!

The striping and decals are period correct and more thin-mil than the 20-mil decals used on most helmets you find on the market today. The decals and striping are also under the rivets just as Wilson applied them!

Nice adult size 7 1/2 helmet has never been drilled for a facemask. This amazing specimen shows only slight wear from storage and display. All it needs is your favorite player’s facemask!

This is a very rare find indeed.
