Vintage 1960s MacGregor Football Helmet Custom Baltimore Colts Tom Matte

Very rare original and vintage MacGregor football helmet from the mid 1960s. This beauty is a true one of a kind collectible made to represent the helmet worn by Colts All-Time Favorite Tom Matte during the glory years of the Colts dynasty! Check out the sewn in padding, exactly as Matte wore during that era. Also, this is not a clear shell, but a white impregnated shell too. Helmet is also nice adult 7 3/8. See photos for condition.

This helmet comes with all you see, including BD-9 style 2-bar facemask, soft cup chin strap, thin mil iconic Colts horseshoe decals and striping, and matching Colts blue #41 in correct size and font for the Colts during the mid 1960s. See photos for reference.

Please note- we are not claiming this helmet was issued or worn by the Colts or Mr. Matte. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
