TK2 Style Football Helmet Custom 1967 Green Bay Packers Bart Starr Super Bowl I

Custom, one of a kind TK2 Style helmet, with iconic “G” logos of the 1967 Green Bay Packers. Helmet comes with 1-bar facemask, just as worn by Packers All-Time great and Hall of Famer Bart Starr in the Packers Championship between the AFL and the NFL, now known as Super Bowl I.

Notice the shape of the “G” in the decals. These were specially made to recreate the original logos used by the Packers during the 1960s. These decals have a G with heavier white and less green border than later decals.

Comes with appropriate size, font and color #15 on the rear as Taylor wore too! Rumor has it that Packers coach Vince Lombardi had Starr and Jim Taylor switch out their 2-bar facemasks for 1-bar masks to show the players weren’t afraid of the Chiefs. The classic shape of the TK's rounded shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the attachment of a 1-bar facemask. These helmets are recently manufactured helmets! The adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together. This item also has thin mil decals as the originals, real leather jaw pads, and gray toned chin strap. They are painted gray inside just as the vintage originals from the 1960's. This helmet displays beautifully and will make a wonderful gift!
