RK2 Vintage Style 1969 Detroit Lions Football Helmet Lem Barney Thin Mil Decals!

For your consideration is this custom one of a kind RK2 style Football Helmet, outfitted with iconic thin mil decals and striping of the Detroit Lions, in appropriate color of blue. This beautiful specimen has been customized to represent the helmet worn by All-Time great Hall of Famer and fan favorite of the Lions, Lem Barney during 1969 (see photos).

Notice there is a white center stripe but not a white outline around the Lions decals! The Lions only wore this combination for the 1969 season!

Helmet includes Schutt style 2-bar facemask, white ribbed soft cup chin strap, authentic leather jaw pads, and Barney’s famous #20 written on authentic athletic tape and placed inside the helmets as equipment managers might have done for identification purposes.

Helmet is built to represent the famous 1960s-1070s configuration of the Riddell TK2 suspension helmet with 12-spoke suspension and iconic Schutt style OPO facemask.
