RK2 Style Football Helmet 1966 Atlanta Falcons Tommy Nobis Rookie Year

One of a kind RK-2 style Football Helmet customized to represent the helmet worn by all-time great Falcons Middle Linebacker Tommy Nobis during his Rookie season with the Atlanta Falcons in 1966! See photos of Nobis wearing this style helmet and mid 1960s Schutt style NOP facemask. Photos are for reference only and are not part of purchase.

This is a true representation of the helmets worn by the Falcons during this era with iconic thin-mil Falcons decals. The striping is thin mil, with 1-inch gold laid down first and then covered with 1/2 inch white just as the Falcons wore for their first several years. Helmet even comes with old school soft cup chin strap.

Helmet has also been customized by adding Nobis’ #60 written on authentic athletic tape as equipment managers might have done for identification purposes.
