Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 Suspension Football Helmet 1973 Minnesota Vikings Krause

Rare Minnesota Vikings Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 helmet from 1973 as evidenced by the date stamp inside above the ear hole. Helmet also has interior painted gray as RIDDell did in earlier models.

This amazing helmet comes with painted Vikings horns just like RIDDell manufactured for the team during the 1960s! That’s right- No decals on this amazing specimen!

This was accomplished by painting the shell white, then taping off the horns and painting the gold next, then taping that off and painting the entire helmet Vikings purple. Then the tape was removed to reveal the finished product. This process is tedious and requires much skill, but leaves a lasting impression!

Helmet also has the most popular football helmet facemask on the planet- an original and vintage Riddell BD-9 two bar facemask and it is date matched as well, and even has matching jaw pads originally from that era.

To round out the package, helmet even has Vikings All- time great and Hall of Fame safety Paul Krause’s #22 written above the earhole on red tape as equipment managers would have done for identification purposes.
