Riddell Kra-Lite RK2 Football Helmet 1968 Ohio State Buckeyes National Champions
Ohio State Buckeyes Riddell Classic Kra-Lite RK2 helmet, commemorating the Buckeyes’ and Head Coach Woody Hayes 1968 National Championship. The RK2 helmets are highly collectible in themselves, and helmet includes thin mil striping, and large "Buckeye" thin mil award decals as used in the late 1960s and early 1970s by the Buckeyes of Coach Hayes. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
Riddell Classic Kra-Lite RK2 helmet-
A classic step back in time! The classic shape of the Riddell RK's slightly flared shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the attachment of an original Riddell two bar facemask. These helmets are recently manufactured Riddell Pro-Line Authentic On Field helmets! The adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together. Thin mil decals exactly as the originals, real leather jaw pads, gray toned strap and identical front style labeling makes this helmet indistinguishable from the original. They are painted gray inside just as the Riddell vintage originals from the 1960's, and also have the "KRA-LITE" and "RIDDell" trademarks branded into the rear of the helmet, unlike some other helmets you may find on the market these days which have neither. Do not settle for a substitute. Demand the real thing!
PLEASE NOTE- THESE HELMETS HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED BY RIDDELL IN 2007, AND ARE GETTING DIFFICULT TO FIND! ITEM PICTURED IS ITEM YOU WILL RECEIVE. WE ONLY HAVE ONE OF THESE IN STOCK! All of our helmets are for display purposes only! They are not to be used or worn for competitive play. Westbrook Sportscards has been in business since 1988.
