Los Angeles Rams Vintage Riddell 1978 PAC-3 Game Used Football Helmet Size 7 1/4

Vintage and original Los Angeles Rams game used Riddell PAC-3 game football helmet from 1978 as shown by the date stamp in the helmet. The PAC-3 was Riddell’s first air-padding system which came out during the early 1970s and was made for about a decade.

The padding was added to the shell of the already successful RIDDell TK-2 suspension helmet by adding inserts to hold the padding where the rivets would have been.

The helmet has authentic team issued decals, cut and applied exactly as the Rams equipment managers did. Notice the horns with cut outs around the snaps and where the facemask is attached on the side. Decals show appropriate shrinkage for decals from 45 years ago.

This beauty also comes with all you see, including vintage jaw pads, full cage facemask and 4-point low hook soft up chinstrap with matching font. Helmet shows moderate to heavy use. This helmet displays beautifully!
