Kansas City Chiefs RIDDell Classic RK2 Football Helmet Len Dawson Super Bowl IV

Authentic and original Kansas City Chiefs RIDDell Classic RK2 Football Helmet with thin mil decals of the 1970 Kansas City Chiefs and customized to represent the helmet worn that year by All-Time great and Hall of Famer, Len Dawson as he led the Chiefs to a dominating victory over the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV.

This beautiful specimen has Dawson’s name and number inside helmet on authentic and vintage athletic tape as might have been done by Chiefs equipment managers for purposes of identification.

Helmet also includes iconic Riddell BD-9 facemask as worn by Dawson most of his career!

Helmet is built to represent the famous 1960s configuration of the RK suspension helmet with 12-spoke suspension made exactly as the originals from the 1960s.

A classic step back in time! The classic shape of the Riddell RK's slightly flared shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the attachment of an original Riddell two bar facemask.

These helmets are recently manufactured Riddell Pro-Line Authentic On Field helmets! The adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together. Thin mil decals exactly as the originals, real leather jaw pads, gray toned strap and identical front style labeling makes this helmet indistinguishable from the original.

They are painted gray inside just as the Riddell vintage originals from the 1960's, and also have the "KRA-LITE" and "RIDDell" trademarks branded into the rear of the helmet, unlike some other helmets you may find on the market these days which have neither. Do not settle for a substitute. Demand the real thing!
