Game Used NFL, Riddell Kra-Lite, and Miscellaneous Helmets: Pittsburgh Steelers Authentic Vintage NFL Riddell Kra-Lite-8 Game Football Helmet Circa 1969

Gorgeous authentic Riddell Kra-Lite-8 helmet circa 1969, before the merger when the Steelers were still in the NFL. Helkmet even has the gray paint inside the shell! This rarely seen helmet was manufactured by Riddell for use on the field, but ended up as some of the vintage authentic Riddell helmet shells did in the late 1960s and early 1970s, assembled into a Riddell helmet lamp. This helmet was removed from that lamp and recently received a size 7 3/8 suspension padding and authentic leather jaw pads, just like the original. The shell, vintage authentic Riddell BD-9 2-bar face mask and thin-mil decals are all original and from the original manufacture date. This is a great old Riddell helmet that was game issue quality and is a very desirable display piece. We have seen the helmet lamps fetch more money than we are asking for this item, and the lamps do not have suspension padding installed.
