Game Used NFL, Riddell Kra-Lite, and Miscellaneous Helmets: New Orleans Saints Authentic Riddell Kra-Lite-8 Football Helmet circa 1970

This gorgeous, and very rare helmet is an authentic Riddell Kra-Lite-8, circa 1970. This helmet was manufactured by Riddell with the authentic 12-point suspension padding and authentic leather jaw pads. The shell was painted with the original old gold paint in 1970 of the Saints, and has suffered very minor wear from storage of over 40 years. The thin-mil decals and striping are the authentic thickness and size of the ear. The facemask is an authentic Riddell BD-9 double-bar as worn in that era. This is a great old Riddell helmet that was game issue quality and is a very desirable display piece. This is an absolutely great opportunity to obtain a helmet that looks just like it walked of the field in 1970 at old Tulane Stadium! And, as an added bonus, this helmet still has the original paperwork that was shipped out with every helmet from Riddell still inside the suspension padding- Just chek out the pitures!
