Game Used NFL, Riddell Kra-Lite, and Miscellaneous Helmets: Dallas Cowboys Authentic Vintage NFL Riddell Kra-Lite Game Football Helmet 64-66

This beauty is an authentic Riddell Kra-Lite helmet, circa 1973, which was decaled to represent a Cowboys helmet from the 1964-66 seasons. This helmet was manufactured by Riddell for use on the field, but ended up as some of the vintage authentic Riddell helmet shells did in the late 1960s and early 1970s, assembled into a Riddell helmet lamp. This helmet was removed from that lamp and recently received a size 7 3/8 suspension padding and authentic leather jaw pads, just like the original. The thin-mil decals are the very rare multi-layered decals, and the helmet and Riddell BD-9 2-bar facemask are both original and from the original manufacture date. The helmet has the proper blue DYNO tape with "MEREDITH" on the rear white strip as would have been worn by Cowboys great quarterback Dandy Don Meredith. This is a great old Riddell helmet that was game issue quality and is a very desirable display piece. We have seen the helmet lamps fetch more money than we are asking for this item, and the lamps do not have suspension padding installed. This will make a great gift for that old die-hard NFL football fan!
