Authentic Vintage Houston Oilers Rare Rawlings HCVP HND-9 Football Helmet 1980

Very rare and original Vintage Rawlings HCVP Football Helmet. The HCVP represents one of them Rawlings padded helmets in the HND line. This beautiful helmet includes a complete set of original padding, and was never used, and sports appropriate Columbia Blue and red decals and striping for the Oilers of the early 1980s.

This is a nice large size 7 1/2 helmet just as many of the Oilers stars from this era wore, and includes an extra large Green Dot Schutt NOP-DW facemask just as worn by Earl Campbell during that era. See pictures of Earl Campbell for reference only. We have even customized the helmet by adding vintage blue Dymo-tape with Campbell’s number and name inside the helmet.

Helmet still retains its original shine, and is dated 2-81, for February 1980. Helmet came to us without a facemask, so we added the original NOP-DW mask you see here to match the photo, as well as matching clips.

Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field! Please note that we are not claiming this helmet was worn by Mr. Campbell. This is rare item indeed, and is perfect for that Oilers fan who has everything!
