Authentic 1979 Riddell Houston Oilers Football Helmet Game Used Cliff Parsley

Rare, game used Houston Oilers Riddell suspension football helmet as shown in photos. This piece of NFL history is a nice size Large, with 7 1/2 printed on the suspension.

This amazing find is from an Estate Sale, and is attributed to Cliff Parsley, who punted for the Oilers from 1977-1983. Drafted by the Oilers out of Oklahoma State in 1977, Parsley punted for the Oilers through 1983. Helmet has Parsley’s number 18 appropriately written above one ear hole and 1979, the year this helmet was used, written above the other ear hole, just as equipment managers might have done for identification purposes.

Oilers side decals and striping show proof of age from appropriate shrinkage.

This beautiful specimen shows attractive game use, and includes an original RIDDell 1-bar facemask, authentic original RIDDell leather jaw pads, and 2-point low hook up chin strap.

Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
