1973 UCLA Bruins Authentic Game Used Riddell TK Kra-Lite II TAK29 Football Helmet

Authentic and original Game Used UCLA Bruins full size 1973 RIDDELL TK2 Kra-Lite II TAK-29 suspension Football Helmet bearing original paint and the proper size, color, and style thin mil decals of the University of California Los Angeles Bruins for 1973.

Riddell TAK-29 helmets included the revolutionary liquid filled cell padding at the base of the neck to protect against concussions.

Decals show appropriate shrinkage for decals of this vintage and thickness. And check out the way the decals were cut out of the original sheet they were printed on, most likely using a simple box cutter or scissors.

Nice large adult size 7 helmet includes the presence of a date stamp on the inside above the earhole guarantees the helmet was manufactured in 1973.

Note the presence of gold paint over the RIDDELL and KRA-LITE II heat stamps was likely applied by the reconditioner of the helmet after the 1973. Also, 1973 was the first year the Bruins wore their iconic UCLA decals.

Add to all of this the Red Dot size OPO Facemask and soft cup 4-point chin strap and you have an amazing helmet sure to be an amazing addition to any collection.

This is a very rare piece of UCLA history indeed!
