Vintage Riddell ACE-1 Football Helmet Army Black Knights 1992 X-Large Shell

Vintage Riddell ACE-1 size extra large 8 3/8 helmet with the last recertification in 1992 as shown by the sticker in the helmet. This beauty appears to be an Army game worn helmet as shown by the “ARMY” sticker applied to the front RIDDell bumper! We are not sure which player may have worn this amazing piece of football Americana but a number is written above the ear hole and then marked out.

This rare RIDDell ACE-1 model helmet is valuable even without being a gamer, but as it is this is truly a valuable helmet. This beauty has a full set of vintage pads, as well as the black NJOP linemen facemask. Helmet also has vintage original chin strap with RIDDell stamping.

Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
