Vintage Riddell 1973 Kra-Lite Football Helmet 1976 Dallas Cowboys Correct Color!

Rare, authentic, original Riddell Kra-Lite II TK2 helmet from 1973 as shown by the date stamp above the ear hole. Nice large shell helmet with size 7 1/2 suspension is customized as a true one-of-a-kind and includes all you see!

The shell is painted appropriate Cowboys blue-silver, and has appropriate red-white-blue striping and iconic Cowboys triple star side decals as the team wore in 1976, the Bi-Centennial of the USA! See photo for reference only.

You will not find this paint on any other helmets available on the market these days unless you purchase an authentic original 1960-1970s Cowboys TK, and that paint will have faded to a certain degree.

The paint we used on this helmet has been specially created by color matching an area on an original Cowboys RIDDell RK2 shell which had not been exposed to sunlight or elements since it was manufactured and painted at the RIDDell factory in 1968.

As a Cowboys fan I have always desired to create this paint to match the game used Cowboys helmets of the 1960s and 1970s when America’s Team’s helmet shell colors matched their shiny blue-silver pants!

We then had to find the correct paint, as most paints these days are not suited to this effort. We have spared no expense in creating this truly rare and historically correct collectible.

This beauty has also been outfitted with iconic full size Cowboys star and striping of the Cowboys.

We can add the Cowboys' famous dymo tape with on the rear center stripe in appropriate blue color created by using a vintage Dymo-tape label maker and vintage original Dymo-tape. Just tell us whose name you desire at purchase. Here you have a truly rare collectible.

This beautiful helmet also includes one of the most widely used football facemasks of the era, the Schutt Red Dot OPO facemask.

Riddell Kra-Lite II helmets are a rare collectible in their own right, as they were only manufactured for a few years. We have also included a four point low hook up chin strap to match the photo.

This is an incredibly beautiful helmet, and will make a great conversation piece!
