Vintage Original Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 1962 Football Helmet Custom Dallas Texans

Authentic, vintage and original Riddell TK2 Kra-Lite football helmet from 1962 as shown by the black ink date stamp on inside of the helmet. This was the first year of the TK2 with its revolutionary 12-spoke suspension.

Helmet also includes vintage and original BD-9 Riddell 2-bar facemask and chin strap from the era! The “RIDDell” stamping on the mask and strap perfectly matches the stamping on the helmet!

Helmet is completely original from 1962 and is a custom one of a kind tribute to the 1962 AFL Champion Dallas Texans. This amazing helmet was adorned with thin mil iconic Texans decals, just like the originals from 1962, applied to the sides of the helmet in appropriate position. Even the gold star on the decal is a separate piece of vinyl applied appropriately as was done in that year. Helmet also carries a vintage coat of red paint.

The Riddell TK2, was known and recognized by the rounded shell, and was used by many AFL and NFL greats from 1962 until the Late 1970s. Helmet shows very attractive and use.
