RK2 Vintage Style 1960-62 Dallas Texans Football Helmet Original AFL Team

Recently manufactured full size RK2 style Football Helmet, readily recognized by the iconic flared ear shell, and 12-spoke suspension padding!

This beauty is customized to be like the helmet worn by the Dallas Texans in 1960, the AFL’s and the team’s inaugural year, and through 1962 before the team vacated Dallas in favor of relocating to Kansas City. Celebrate the Texans AFL Championship in 1962 with this beautiful helmet.

Sharp deep red paint is contrast by the thin-mil white decal in the shape of Texas with a gold star placed appropriately on each side in appropriate size and color, as used by the Texans during those first years. Also note: the gold star is a separate piece of vinyl, applied to the location of the Texans in the Lone Star State just as the team had during this era. See photo of team history for reference.

Helmet is built to represent the famous 1960s configuration of the RK suspension helmet with 12-spoke suspension and iconic 2-bar gray facemask. PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE NOT CLAIMING THIS HELMET WAS ISSUED OR USED BY the Texans.
