Riddell Classic Kra-Lite RK2 Football Helmet 1965 Washington Redskins Spear

RARE Washington Redskins Riddell Classic RK2 Kra-Lite helmet, decaled as the Redskins wore from 1965 through 1969. This is known as the “Spear” version, and is one of the more rare versions made by Riddell in this series of pro-line helmets.

This amazing specimen has been customized to represent the RIDDell RK helmet worn by many of the Redskins, by adding the iconic Schutt style NOP “cage” facemask and number 65 to the rear in correct size and font for the era.

Riddell Classic Kra-Lite RK2 Football Helmets-

A classic step back in time! The classic shape of the Riddell RK's slightly flared shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the attachment of an original Riddell two bar facemask.

These helmets are recently manufactured Riddell Pro-Line Authentic On Field helmets! The adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together. Thin mil decals exactly as the originals, real leather jaw pads, gray toned strap and identical front style labeling makes this helmet indistinguishable from the original.

They are painted gray inside just as the Riddell vintage originals from the 1960's, and also have the "KRA-LITE" and "RIDDell" trademarks branded into the rear of the helmet, unlike some other helmets you may find on the market these days which have neither. Do not settle for a substitute. Demand the real thing!
