Rawlings Washington Redskins 1978? Large Football Helmet BD-9 Mask

Rare Rawlings football helmet from the late 1970s - early 1980s, with appropriate team issued decals for the Washington Redskins, and outfitted with appropriate original and vintage RIDDell BD-9 facemask, painted appropriate gold for the era of the helmet. Both helmet and mask have multiple layers of paint, and show attractive scuffs and scratches.

Striping and decals of this rare specimen are vintage more thin than newer decals and show appropriate shrinkage and slipping for their age. One decal has lost adhesive under the bottom of the decal.
