Minnesota Vikings TK2 Style Suspension Football Helmet Fran Tarkenton

Custom one of a kind recently manufactured helmet, made to replicate the Minnesota Vikings Riddell Kra-Lite TK2 helmets as worn by all the Vikings greats of the 1970s.

This gorgeous specimen has been adorned with the Vikings’ iconic “Horns” decals. Notice how the horns are laid on top of the front rivets near the front edge of the helmet, just as Vikings horns decals in the 1970s.

This helmet is also outfitted with the most popular football helmet facemask in history, the BD-9 style 2-bar mask as worn by All-Time Great and Fan Favorite, Hall of Famer Fran Tarkenton during his Vikings career. Helmet also comes with appropriate #10 written on red tape inside helmet above ear holes just as Vikings equipment managers might have done for identification purposes too!

TK helmets offer a classic step back in time! The classic shape of the TK's rounded shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing which is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together and makes this helmet almost indistinguishable from the originals. They are also painted gray inside just as the Riddell vintage originals from the 1970's!
