Minnesota Vikings “Big Horns” RK2 Style Suspension Football Helmet Joe Kapp

Custom one of a kind recently manufactured helmet, made to replicate the Minnesota Vikings Riddell Kra-Lite RK2 helmets as worn by all the Vikings greats of the 1960s.

This gorgeous specimen has been adorned with the Vikings’ iconic “Big Horns.” Notice how the horns sit near the top of the ear holes and near the front edge of the helmet, just as the Vikings horns were before the team transitioned to the smaller horn decals in the 1970s. Also, these decals are in 2 separate pieces with the gold being a separate piece of vinyl from the white.

This helmet is also outfitted with a single bar facemask as worn by All-Time Great and Fan Favorite Joe Kapp during his Vikings career. See photos of Kapp. Photos are not included in purchase, but are for reference only.

Helmet also comes with appropriate #11 written on red tape inside helmet above ear holes just as Vikings equipment managers might have done for identification purposes too!

RK helmets offer a classic step back in time! The classic shape of the RK's slightly flared shell and handsome metal rivets are complemented by the adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing which is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together and makes this helmet almost indistinguishable from the originals. They are also painted gray inside just as the Riddell vintage originals from the 1960's!
