Michigan Wolverines 1947 National Champions Throwback RT Style Football Helmet

RARE officially licensed Michigan Wolverines Throwback Football Helmet, complete with wrap around leather jaw pads, old school chin strap, and painted on familiar Wolverines logos. This helmet was produced to replicate the Riddell RT helmets worn in Michigan's National Championship of 1947.  Very tough to find helmet has been on display. Please see pictures for condition. A classic step back in time! The classic shape of the RT's slightly flared shell is complemented by the handsome metal rivets. These helmets are recently manufactured Pro-Line Authentic On Field helmets! The adult size 7 3/8 suspension webbing is identical to the original right down to the same brown thread that was used to stitch it together. Real leather jaw pads, gray toned strap and identical front style labeling makes this helmet indistinguishable from the original. They are painted gray inside just as the vintage originals!
