You just don't see the authentic NFL game helmets from this era any more. Here is an opportunity that may not come along again. This helmet is certified as game used by the Houston Oilers in 1970. It was later autographed by 1959 LSU Heisman Trophy winner, and later Oilers #1 draft pick, Billy Cannon. The helmet is complete with all padding intact, original decals and striping, and a "modified" facemask to boot! Just check out the mask- they cut out the top part of the nosebar to "create" a WR-QB mask. Look at some of the pictures from that era and you will be amazed at how often this happened!
