Custom TK2 Style Football Helmet- 1975 Houston Oilers Billy White Shoes Johnson

true, custom, one of a kind football helmet sporting decals and striping of the 1975 Houston Oilers. The 1975 season was the first year the team wore white helmets with the true Columbia blue and red colors.

This beauty is customized to represent the helmet worn that year by the most electric of the Oilers, Billy “White Shoes” Johnson. Helmet is recently manufactured and customized by adding authentic Dymo tape with Johnson’s number and name placed above the earhole just as equipment managers might have done for identification purposes.

Helmet is size 7 3/8 TK2 style football helmet with authentic leather jaw pads. This amazing specimen comes with the most recognizable facemask in history, an original RIDDell 2-bar BD-9.

Helmet also comes with 2-point vintage style low hook-up chin strap. PLEASE NOTE: we are not claiming this helmet was issued by the Oilers or worn by Mr. Johnson. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
