Custom 1952 Washington Redskins RT2 Suspension Football Helmet Sammy Baugh

Recently manufactured RT2 style suspension helmet which has been customized to represent possibly the greatest of all NFL players in history!

Slingin’ Sammy Baugh was a college All-American from TCU and then played for the Washington Redskins where he starred on both offense as a quarterback and defense as a safety as well as the league’s best punter! Not only did he lead the NFL in touchdown passes, but he also led the league in interceptions, and he held the NFL record for punting average from 1933 until this past year!

The “RT” helmet was the first plastic helmet worn by most pro teams and the first by Sammy Baugh.
