1988 New York Giants Vintage Riddell VSR-1 Game Used Football Helmet

Vintage game used and rare size 7 1/8 New York Giants Riddell VSR-1 helmet from 1988 as shown by the date stamp. This helmet came to us exactly as you see here, and includes thinner mil striping and decals of the 1980s, appropriately placed as the Giants wore that year, and #49 in appropriate size and font placed on the rear. This beauty also includes vintage jaw pads, as well as the authentic RIDDell white double bar NOPO facemask.

Helmet also has vintage original chin strap with RIDDell in matching font with the forehead pad. We have wiped the helmet down, but not attempted to do a thorough cleaning so the helmet will seem more like a true game worn helmet. Helmet does have very attractive scrapes and scuffs. Please note: we are not claiming this helmet was issued or worn by the Giants. Will make a stunning display, and looks like it just came off the field!
