Vintage Original 1940s Black Riddell RT2 Football Helmet White One-bar Mask

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION!

Extremely rare vintage and original Riddell RT2, in nice adult size 7 Football Helmet, from the late 1940s-early 1950s, complete with original dog-ear leather jaw pads, old school 6-strap suspension and early Riddell leather crown pad. Helmet has iconic 32-hole venting in top of shell.

This beauty has two cracks and has been customized with athletic tape for stripes on the helmet. This amazing helmet came to us from Canada. Look at the unique facemask too!

Based on shape and number of holes in the top of the shell, as well as consideration of the suspension, our best estimate would indicate this helmet was manufactured in the late 1940s to early 1950s.
