While we can’t verify this is a Notre Dame gamer, the many layers of gold paint, including paint on the face mask sides, is consistent with the way Notre Dame painted their helmets using the student body to apply the paint every Friday before a home game!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eDo to the many layers of paint you can no longer make out the famous RIDDell and KRA-LITE heat stamps but the remains of the original RIDDell RK2 sticker are in the rear of the helmet.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe photos speak for themselves!
