Original Vintage 1960s Wilson Football Helmet Size 6 7/8 Buffalo Bills BD-9 Mask

Rare original and vintage WIlson football helmet from the 1960s with a complete set of padding which includes the Ultra rare “Big U” jaw pads ($75-100 value by themselves). This beauty has been customized to represent the helmet worn by several Bills players by adding a reproduction 2-bar BD-9 facemask. This handsome helmet came to us sporting iconic thin mil Standing Buffalo decals and thin mil red and blue striping. As many folks are aware, the Bills are one of the few teams which used some Wilson helmets during this period of the 1960s to early 1970s.

This is truly a custom one of a kind helmet.

This helmet has flaws just like the helmets worn during the 1960s, but will display nicely. These were built to put on the shelf or mantle and enjoy discussions about the golden era of football!

This is a nice size 6 7/8 helmet.
