Original Authentic Vintage NFL Riddell Kra-Lite Game Football Helmets circa 1960-1970: Riddell Kra-Lite-8 TK2 Suspension Football Helmet St. Louis Cardinals Jim Hart

For your consideration is this rare St. Louis Cardinals Riddell Kra-Lite-8 TK2 helmet from 1970, as evidenced by the date stamp inside above the ear hole. Kra-Lite-8 helmets were only manufactured for approximately one year by Riddell. This was a Riddell lamp as described below, so helmet is original and vintage and includes vintage leather jaw pads and vintage multiple piece decals. That’s right- these decals were applied in different pieces! Helmet also has the most popular football helmet facemask on the planet- a vintage Riddell BD-9 two bar facemask. To round out the package, helmet even has Cardinals All- time great quarterback Jim Hart’s #17 written above the earhole. We will also change out the 2-bar mask for a 1-bar mask as hart wore during parts of his career (See photos) if you desire. Just let us know when you purchase.
