Calgary Stampeders Vintage RARE Rawlings RTS Noodle Game Used Football Helmet

Very rare game used Calgary Stampeders Rawlings RTS “Noodle” football helmet with full set of padding, including rare jaw pads. This helmet is manufactured in 1981, but bears decals and striping for the following season of 1982 showing multiple years of use.

The RTS is referred to as “Noodle” due to the appearance of the revolutionary padding Rawlings used in these helmets of surgical tubing being placed under the white padding. This design was only used for a couple of years before advancements were made in Rawlings padding. This helmet has a full set of tubing but the tubing has become brittle so extra care should be used when handling the helmet. The padding is held in place by Velcro.

This will make a great project helmet, or restore it to its original team. Size is 7 1/2.
